At Hobart Therapy, we want to be upfront about costs so you know exactly what to expect. We keep the cost as low as possible and lower than many other providers.
It’s worth remembering we’re a small practice which is why we can keep our costs down and why you receive a completely personal service – but it means we don’t have access to some of the technology such as Hicaps machines that other providers might have. This does not disadvantage you in any way – it just makes a difference to how claiming Medicare rebates works. Â
Session Fees and Booking
$195 per session
- If you are eligible, Medicare rebates are available when working with Chris which will substantially reduce your out of pocket payment. Rebates are $87.25 per session
- Please note: rebates reduce the overall cost, though an out-of-pocket gap will remain.
Payment Options
- Online Payment — Secure credit card payments (a small surcharge applies).
- Direct Bank Transfer — Payment two days prior to your booked session.
- In-Person Payment — Via Stripe
- Cash - Cash is always accepted
Cancellation Policy
To keep sessions available for those who need them and to ensure small business viability, the following apply:
- Cancellations with 72+ hours notice — no charge.
- Same-day cancellations or non-attendance — full session fee applies.
As a small business, late cancellations have a significant impact, and these policies help keep the practice sustainable.
